Sunday Session October 27th - Halloween ride/Bone Collector:
Costume party ride! What better place to do so that out on Bone Collector! This will be a very causal party ride, everyone is encouraged to dress up.
This will be the final ride of the series, bonus Sundays will be weather dependent!
Please come with a trail-ready bike, helmet, and water!
Rapid City Bike Fest
Join us for the first-ever Black Hills Bike Hub Rapid City Bike Fest—an all-weekend Halloween bike party!
Day 1 kicks off with a group mountain bike ride, followed by a 10K hosted by our trail enthusiasts, the Black Hills Runners Club. Then, for the first time since the amphitheater was built in the 1930s, we’ll have live music, thanks to Pocket Junkies!
Prepare for the excitement as the Black Hills Flow Trail brings back the second annual Air and Style Show, featuring BIG air tricks and plenty of stoke! We'll wrap up the day with an after-party at Dakota Point Brewery to keep the fun going.
Day 2 will feature an amazing Fall cyclocross event led by Carson Quinn at Stevens Raider Park. We'll also have another fantastic Family Day event, with activities for children of all ages! Expect flow trail fun, smiles for miles, Halloween trick-or-treaters, and Strider riders—bring your little ones for a great time!
The weekend wraps up with a Halloween group ride on Bone Collector, where you'll encounter spooky skeletons along the way!

Rapid City BMX Track Open House
Ever wanted to experience the thrill of BMX riding? Now's your chance! The Rapid City BMX track will be open to all non-motorized bikes for an awesome hour of practice and fun mock racing. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a newbie, this event is for everyone!
Required: Long sleeves, pants, closed toed shoes, helmets (full faced- we do have some loaners) Gloves strongly recommended.
Schedule:
• 6:00 PM: Track goes hot, so make sure to show up early!
• 30 mins of practice followed by 30 mins of mock racing—get ready for some friendly competition!
Don't have a bike? No worries! We have rental bikes available, so you can still join in the fun.
Grab your gear, bring your friends, and let’s have a blast on the track!

Sunday Session October 20th - Buzzards Roost
This Sunday's ride will start from the Buzzards Roost trailhead off of Highway 44. Did you know the Buzzards Roost trail system was one of the major trail projects of Black Hills Mountain Bike Association? Which is now the Bike Hub! Extra route is TBD!
Please come with a trail ready bike, helmet, and watet!
Trail Workday - Raider Park
We're back to Raider Park to tidy up the trails for our fall Family Day event during the Rapid City Bike Fest!
Join us from 9am to 11am or 1 pm to 3pm. We'll have tools. You're always welcome to bring your own string trimmer. Closed toes shoes and gloves recommended. We'll have hearing and eye protection.
Trail Maintenance Monday - Skyline Wilderness Area
Please help us lend a hand to Black Hills Flow Trail and polish up the Skyline Flow trail for the upcoming Air and Style Competition on October 26th at 2pm. We will meet at Skyline Park's Petrified Forest trail head at 5:30pm on both Monday October 14th and Monday October 21st.
We'll have hand tools but bring your favorite shovel if you like. Closed toe shoes highly encouraged. Thanks again for helping us support the great event!

Bike Packing 101 Social
Join us at Lost Cabin to learn about bikepacking from some of the local legends of the sport! Bikepacking is both an extremely rewarding and humbling way to adventure by bike. You can expect to hear some great insights on what draws people to this type of ridging, how to approach packing, what to bring with you, and many other tools to break down the barriers to entry into the world of adventure riding! Even if you are an experienced rider who has many trips under your belt, join us! This will be a great opportunity to build a community amongst your bikepacking peers!

6:00 PM - 6:30: Show & Tell - Loaded bikes set up around the patio so people can chat with panelists and get ideas for questions.
6:30 –7:30: Panel Discussion – Informal moderated panel discussion and open Q&A.

Skyline Flow Trail Fundraising Event

Here we go!
With the trail approved, and the first section already funded, we have just begun work and are now ready for our big fundraiser for the Skyline Flow Trail :D
Here is what you have to look forward to at this event:
• Silent & live auctions of high-quality goods and services from local businesses.
• All the information, with plenty of opportunity for Q & A .
• Hanging out in a nice facility with our beloved mountain bike community. There is a dedicated kids room adjacent that will be staffed and will have activities for the kids!
• Healthy food & beverages available.
• All proceeds go towards a world-class bike park in downtown Rapid City!!
If you have something to contribute (goods, services, volunteering at the event, etc.) please get in touch! We can sure use all the help our community is inspired to give.
